Question # 1:
Literature helps us to understand the character traits and motives of many different people. Some people are similar to us, and others are very different. Write a well developed paragraph in which you tell me which character in The Outsiders you are most like and why. You may choose any character, but you must make sure you connect to them in some real way.
I think that I am most like Ponyboy because I always try to be kind, considerate to other people, and smart. Just like Ponyboy, if someone started throwing popcorn or something at a movie I wouldn't join in, I'm just not like that. There have been times were someone yells at me and all I feel like doing is running away just like he did when Darry hit Ponyboy for getting home so late. Sometimes I also feel like I'm the only one who thinks something like Ponyboy when he goes to the movie, but just like him I usually do something even if not many people agree. I think that Ponyboy and I have many similarities.
